At Providence, we believe in serving, in putting our faith, compassion, and the love of Christ in action. We believe that the love of Christ compels to serve the needy and vulnerable.
We support those in need of food and practical support by working with Parker Task Force. We contribute on a monthly basis and direct those in need to the Task Force for help.
In keeping with Matthew 25, we believe in caring for those who are hungry and lonely and in need of practical help. The ZMP funds and supports the Heather Chimhoga orphan care center that serves children from 21 villages in rural Zimbabwe, providing food, schooling, and healthcare.
Zimbabwe Central Fund
The Central Fund is a collection of business developed over a period of six years. The goal of these businesses is to provide work and income but primarily, to provide funding to pay pastors in the Presbytery of Zimbabwe where the unemployment rate is over 90%.
Presbytery Disaster Relief
Through offerings like One Great Hour of Sharing, we support the work of Presbytery Disaster Relief. PDF serves those affected by natural disasters and other major events, providing for immediate needs and helping to rebuild.
Denver Presbytery Mission
The Presbytery is engaged in a variety of Mission partnerships. These partnerships serve incarcerated women, provide shelter and job training for those who are homeless, supports and provides for refugees, and much more.
