Dear Church Family,

Please know how much we have all been praying for each of you! As you are aware, we are in an unprecedented time in the life of our country in terms of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Our government officials and our Presbytery have asked churches to remain closed for Sunday in person worship and other church sponsored activities until further notice. They have emphasized that “social distancing” is the most effective way of slowing the spread of the virus and saving the lives of those most vulnerable to it. We will keep everyone informed about when we might be able to return to normal services and until the time when we can be together again, we will have an abbreviated Worship Service available for everyone to watch or listen to on the website which you can find at www.parkerpresbyterian.org/sermons.

Please know that even though we are unable to meet together, we want to stay connected during this time of uncertainty. You are welcome to contact the church office at 720-851-6881 during office hours or Becca on her cell phone at 707-478-5744; you can also contact your church Deacons to let them know of any specific needs or concerns you may have.

As we move into the coming days, let us remember that we are not alone; the Lord is with us. The words from Joshua 1:9 remind us to: “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” What great words of promise for us to cling to at such a time as this!

Let us continue to pray for one another and for all those whose lives are being touched in difficult ways because of this virus.

Blessings to you in Christ,
Becca
